Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution of MyEncore intellectual property is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

1. Copyright Protection

1.1 Ownership Declaration

All content, materials, software, and intellectual property related to MyEncore SchoolsApp™ are the exclusive property of MyEncore CC, a South African company.

1.2 Protected Materials

The following materials are protected by South African and international copyright laws:

Software Code: All source code, object code, algorithms, and programming logic
Database Structure: Database schemas, data models, and data relationships
User Interface: Screen designs, layouts, graphics, icons, and user experience flows
Documentation: User manuals, technical documentation, training materials
Content: Text, images, videos, audio, and other media
Marketing Materials: Brochures, presentations, website content, and promotional materials

2. Trademarks

"MyEncore™", "MyEncore SchoolsApp™", and the MyEncore logo are trademarks of MyEncore CC. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

Use of our marks requires prior written permission. Confusingly similar names, logos, or domains are forbidden.

3. Intellectual Property Claims

MyEncore CC hereby asserts exclusive ownership of all intellectual property rights in and to the MyEncore SchoolsApp platform, including but not limited to all patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and proprietary technologies.

3.1 Patent Protection

MyEncore may seek patent protection for innovative features and technologies developed for the SchoolsApp platform. Any patents granted shall be the exclusive property of MyEncore CC.

3.2 Trade Secrets

Proprietary algorithms, business methods, and technical processes used in MyEncore SchoolsApp constitute valuable trade secrets and are protected as confidential information.

4. Prohibited Activities

🚫 STRICTLY PROHIBITED

The following activities are expressly forbidden and may result in immediate legal action:

4.1 Software Piracy and Theft

Copying, duplicating, or reproducing any part of the MyEncore software
Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the software
Creating derivative works based on MyEncore technology
Attempting to extract source code or proprietary algorithms

4.2 Brand Infringement

Using the MyEncore name or logo without permission
Creating competing products with similar names or branding
Registering domain names containing "MyEncore" or similar terms
Claiming to be affiliated with or endorsed by MyEncore

4.3 Commercial Exploitation

Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing MyEncore software
Using MyEncore technology to create competing products
Offering services based on MyEncore proprietary methods
Creating "white-label" or rebranded versions of MyEncore

5. Legal Enforcement

5.1 Monitoring and Detection

MyEncore actively monitors for unauthorized use of its intellectual property through:

Digital rights management systems
Online brand monitoring services
Legal surveillance and investigation
User reporting and community vigilance

5.2 Legal Remedies

Violations of our intellectual property rights may result in:

Immediate cease and desist demands
Civil litigation for damages and injunctive relief
Criminal prosecution where applicable
Recovery of attorney fees and court costs
Account termination and permanent banning

MyEncore may file SA applications and, where appropriate, use the Madrid Protocol for international designations.

Patents

MyEncore may seek patent protection (including via PCT). Where applicable, products or features will be marked "patent pending".

Trade Secrets

Proprietary algorithms, business methods, and technical processes are MyEncore trade secrets and confidential information.

9. Governing Law & Venue

This notice and any related dispute are governed by the laws of South Africa. Venue: Pretoria, South Africa.

10. No License; Reservation of Rights

No rights are granted by implication or otherwise. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by MyEncore CC.

11. Takedowns

MyEncore will respond to valid DMCA/other takedown requests and may issue takedowns for unauthorised use on third-party platforms.
